Chris Wood knows there’s still work to do as the Clarets bid to keep their momentum going and maintain Premier League football at Turf Moor.
Wood spearheaded another vital win at Brighton as Burnley made it seven games unbeaten for the first time as a Premier League club to climb out of the bottom three.
No-one outside the top four can match the Clarets’ current form but Wood isn’t ready to stop here with just a three-point gap above the relegation places.
"It’s a good performance. Coming here is always tough but we showed we can fight and grind it out,” said the Clarets’ leading scorer after his double helped secure a magnificent 3-1 win at the Amex Stadium.
