David de Gea looks set to leave Manchester United as his current contract is set to expire tonight.
The Spaniard signed a contract extension at United before the club backed out of the agreed deal, according to reports. The goalkeeper is said to have put pen to paper on terms that drastically slashed his current £375,000-a-week wages, only for the Red Devils to not sign it themselves.
Following the final game of the season back in May, clubs will now be looking at their squads ahead of the new season. With the transfer window officially open, the likes of Arsenal, Man United and Newcastle will all be looking to close the gap on Manchester City after Pep Guardiola's side won their third league title in a row in May.
