Ashley Westwood was named Player of the Year by the Clarets’ Supporters’ Clubs as the fans handed out their annual awards at Turf Moor.
The midfielder topped a poll of votes from supporters on the night to win the overall prize.
Westwood also won five awards from individual clubs to cap a season which has seen the 29-year-old play a key role in the Clarets’ seemingly successful survival mission with an outstanding run of performances since the turn of the year.
“Many thanks to all the supporters who voted for me, individually and in their own clubs,” said Westwood, who has enjoyed his most prolific campaign in a claret and blue shirt with 31 Premier League appearances, a club-high seven assists and his first Burnley goal.
