Vincent Kompany plans to STAY at Burnley despite interest from Tottenham over their vacant managerial position... with the Belgian comfortable at Turf Moor and wanting to see the job through in the Premier League

Vincent Kompany plans to take charge of Burnley for another season after they romped to the Championship title.

In a blow to Tottenham and their search for a new manager, the Belgian is comfortable at Turf Moor and wants to see the job through in the Premier League.

Kompany has admirers at Spurs and was on a list of potential candidates to permanently replace Antonio Conte, who left last month.

The 37-year-old saw his Burnley side clinch the title at bitter rivals at Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night and could break 100 points for the campaign if they win their remaining two fixtures.
