Besiktas are set to swoop to sign Vincent Aboubakar after his release from Al Nassr following Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival, in a move that could secure Wout Weghorst's move to Manchester United.
Aboubakar's contract was terminated by the Saudi Arabian club to make way for Ronaldo, as the Saudi League rules state that clubs can only register up to eight foreign players per squad.
His availability has now alerted former side Besiktas and the Turkish side could bring the Cameroon captain back to the club, where he's had two previous spells. Which in an ironic twist, could benefit Man Utd's striker search.
