Tottenham are dealt ANOTHER blow in their search for a new manager, as Vincent Kompany 'tells backroom staff that he wants to stay at Burnley'... with Spurs left scrambling for options after sacking interim boss Christian Stellini

Tottenham have been dealt a fresh blow in their search for a new manager, after Vincent Kompany reportedly told backroom staff of his desire to stay at Burnley.

The north London club have been searching for a permanent head coach since Antonio Conte's dismissal last month, which led to Christian Stellini's interim appointment.

However, in the wake of their humiliating 6-1 defeat against Newcastle on the weekend, the Italian assistant was relieved of his duties on Monday night.

Spurs fans are now desperate to see a new manager appointed, amid growing uncertainty over the club's progression, but it seems they've suffered another setback.
