Thousands of fans line the streets to celebrate Burnley's Championship title with an open top bus parade... as Clarets boss Vincent Kompany issues a rallying cry for fans to make Turf Moor 'hell' for their rivals next season

Thousands of Burnley fans gathered to celebrate the club clinching the Championship title with the players and boss Vincent Kompany enjoying an open top bus parade on Tuesday night.

The Clarets secured an immediate return to the Premier League in Kompany’s first season as manager, after suffering relegation from the top flight last year.

Burnley dominated the Championship by recording 29 wins, 14 draws and just three defeats from their 46 matches.

A 3-0 home win over Cardiff on the final day saw Burnley reach 101 points, ending with a 10 point cushion over runners-up Sheffield United.
