Tom Heaton insists the Clarets remain in good shape and won’t be de-railed by the end of their two-month unbeaten run.
Burnley’s 2-0 defeat at Newcastle United was their first Premier League loss since Boxing Day.
And Heaton – finishing on the losing side in a league game for the first time since August 2017 – was quick to put the result in its proper context.
“The belief has flowed back in,” insisted the Clarets’ skipper.
“There’s no major drama. It’s a football match away from home.
“We still had a few good chances in there that if we had taken it changes the complexion.
