Theo Foley, George Graham's assistant in Arsenal's 1989 title-winning season, dies aged 83

Former Arsenal assistant manager Theo Foley has passed away at the age of 83.

The Irishman was George Graham's right-hand man when Arsenal famously won the title on the final day of the season in 1989.

A player before caching, Foley represented the Republic of Ireland as well as playing for the likes of Burnley and Charlton.

Foley was a hugely popular figure during his time at Arsenal with players holding him in high esteem.
