Steve Stone was happy to see his side respond to the sluggishness of the first-half performance with a real good show in the second-half, in 1-1 draw with Birmingham City.
The Clarets fell behind in the 25th minute through Dan Scarr’s strike and struggled to get the momentum going throughout the first 45.
However, a much-improved second-half and shuffle in shape saw Burnley snatch an equaliser through Olatunde Bayode late on, although Stone admitted it should have been more.
He said: “I think in the first half we really didn’t get going, they struggled to come to terms to what I was asking them to do and then we conceded a goal from a set-play.
