Steve Stone was delighted with his teams’ efforts against West Brom this evening in the Premier League Cup clash at Keys Park.
The Clarets took the lead through Marley Blair, before goals from West Brom in the 28th minute and 65th had the hosts ahead.
Dan Agyei then snatched an equaliser with 15 minutes to play.
And Stone was happy to see his young side come away with a point and put up a good performance against an experienced side.
He said: “In the end I’d probably say a draw was a fair result, I think If you looked at it from a Burnley point of view you would probably say yes, we deserved more from the chances we created.
