Sheffield United are set to sack Paul Heckingbottom following their dismal 5-0 defeat against Burnley on Saturday.
The Blades sit bottom of the Premier League table and have won just one game since their return to the top flight.
Mail Sport understands that they will relieve Heckingbottom of his duties today and are lining up Chris Wilder to replace him.
Wilder previously led the club from League One to ninth in the Premier League before being sacked in March 2021 after five years at the helm.
