Youth team defender Kane Patterson has received a call-up from Scotland under-17s for their up-coming games against France and Hungary.
The games will take place in Spain at the Pinatar Football Centre in Murcia, between 2 and 9 February and follows previous selections for his national youth setup.
Patterson played in the Scots’ 1-1 draws with Switzerland in November and Cyprus in October.
The teenager – a first-year scholar at Turf Moor – also played in wins over Russia and Kosovo in August and October respectively.
Kane arrived at Burnley from Tottenham in the summer and after winning six under-16 caps for his country, will be looking to add to his four under-17 appearances so far.
