Jeff Hendrick continued his resurgence with another winning goal against Everton to send the Clarets into the international break on a real high
Hendrick claimed the Clarets’ goal of the season two years ago with the decisive effort at Goodison Park.
And the in-form midfielder repeated the trick as he struck with another classy finish to propel Burnley into fourth place in the table on the back of a four-match unbeaten run and back-to-back Turf Moor wins.
These two sides had never drawn a Premier League game before in 10 previous meetings.
And after Everton defender Seamus Coleman had been sent off for a second bookable offence 11 minutes into the second half, Sean Dyche’s men made sure it would stay that way to extend their excellent start to the season.
