PREVIEW: Manchester United v Burnley

The Clarets return to Premier League action with a second trip to Manchester in four days as they try to become the ones to apply the brakes to the United bandwagon.

The Reds have been revived since former striker and ‘super-sub’ Ole Gunnar Solksjaer took control in mid-December.

With ex-Claret and former number two to Sir Alex Ferguson, Mike Phelan, at his side and that of first-team coach Michael Carrick, Solksjaer has seemingly changed the mood that was prevalent under former manager Jose Mourinho.

The players have responded to a change of regime and helped Solskjaer produce eight successive wins to enhance the claims of the 45-year-old to secure the managerial post on a permanent basis.
