Burnley's veteran defender Phil Bardsley has agreed to extend his stay at the club by another year in a boost to the club.
Sean Dyche already has four players leaving on free transfers in Joe Hart, Aaron Lennon, Jeff Hendrick and Adam Legzdins, but 34-year-old Bardsley has committed his future until next summer just days before his deal was set to expire.
It comes as a boost to the club as Bardsley will now take part in the remainder of the campaign, while the four departing players are set to depart Turf Moor at the end of their contracts.
