Paul Clement wants video referees urgently after Anthony Taylor's controversial decision to give Burnley penalty against Swansea

Premier League referees are being hung out to dry the longer they are left without video technology.

So says Swansea manager Paul Clement, who insists the lack of assistance that is available in other sports is leaving match officials stranded and vulnerable.

There was uproar here when Anthony Taylor — the referee who held his stag do abroad last week with fellow blundering official Kevin Friend in attendance among others — awarded Burnley a penalty, even though it was Burnley player Sam Vokes who handled in the box.
