After being unveiled to the media last week, Eddie Howe can now turn his attentions to matters on the pitch with Newcastle United.
The 43-year-old is in the middle of two weeks on the training ground with his new charges as he looks to lift the club out of its perilous position in the Premier League relegation zone.
His first objective will be to take advantage of a particularly inviting run of fixtures, which includes home clashes with Brentford, Norwich and Burnley, and a trip to Arsenal squeezed in between.
