The Clarets have recruited 10 new teenagers to join the youth team for the upcoming season.
The youngsters signed in to start their two-year scholarships as part of the Clarets' U18 squad, under the close watch of head coach Tony Philliskirk.
All but one have been in the Academy set-up since the under-14 age group, training in the evenings and on a day-release basis during last season to help them prepare for the step-up to full-time.
Joel Connolly, Jake Rooney, Matthew Carson, Finlay Armstrong, Tremaine Eastmond, Corey Brennan, Dylan Moonan, Joe McGlynn and Lewis Richardson have all progressed from within, while midfielder Ben Woods, who joined from Manchester United last season, is the only new face to have not progressed through the ranks at the Barnfield Training Centre.
