Clarets goalkeeper Conor Mitchell is heading home to Northern Ireland after securing a loan move to title-chasing Linfield.
Mitchell has ended a similar arrangement with Scottish Premiership side St Johnstone to join the Blues, who are currently top of the Irish Premiership.
The 22-year-old will spend the remainder of the season at Windsor Park and look to compete for a first-team place under Northern Ireland legend David Healy (above).
“I’m looking forward to being involved in a big couple of months for the football club with a title race and the chance to win some domestic silverware too,” said Mitchell.
