Michael Keane's elevation from Manchester United reject to first-choice England player will continue apace on Sunday with the Burnley defender expected to start alongside John Stones against Lithuania.
After an impressive debut against Germany, the withdrawal of Phil Jones and Chris Smalling from the squad and the suspension of Gary Cahill means that Keane will take the stage at Wembley six years after he travelled there as a teenager to watch Manchester United lose to Barcelona in one of the great Champions League finals.
Keane was part of an impressive 2011 Manchester United FA Youth Cup winning team, which included Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingaard and Ravel Morrison.
