England new boy Dwight McNeil hopes to hit the goal trail again against Leicester – with a different outcome.
McNeil scored the second goal of his fledgling Premier League career when he equalised against the Foxes at Turf Moor in March.
A late Wes Morgan strike denied the Clarets any reward but when McNeil struck again against the Wolves in the following fixture, Sean Dyche’s men kicked off a three-game winning run which propelled them to Premier League safety.
“I think that was one of the best times I went through in the season at that point,” said the Clarets’ winger whose rise through the ranks has taken him to England Under-21 recognition.
