Aaron Lennon could be facing a spell on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury at Wembley.
The Clarets’ winger picked up a knock against his former club as Burnley were beaten 1-0 by a late Christian Eriksen goal for Tottenham Hotspur last Saturday.
Lennon played until the 93rd-minute before a late tactical switch but reported some discomfort afterwards.
And after seeing a specialist and under-going a scan on Monday, the former England international, 31, may now require surgery.
Manager Sean Dyche confirmed: “I will find out more accurate information later, but he has a chance of needing an operation.
