Leicester City face paying significant compensation for Sean Dyche should the club appoint him as Craig Shakespeare’s successor, because he secretly signed an improved Burnley contract earlier this year.
Around £2.5million is required to prise Dyche from his deal at Turf Moor.
Dyche was rewarded with better terms towards the end of last season — and the club also protected itself with a higher buyout clause.

The move was kept quiet to avoid distractions at a crucial stage of the campaign.
