Ali Koiki insists the Clarets U23s are 'raring to go' as they prepare to face Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday in the Premier League Cup at Boundary Park.
It's the side's first game since their 1-0 win on February 6th, which was also in the Premier League Cup, against Crystal Palace.
Subsequent postponed league fixtures against Birmingham City, Leeds United and Monday’s clash with Sheffield Wednesday, mean it will be Andy Farrell's side's first outing in just under three weeks.
And although the Clarets are unable to progress through to the knock-out stages in their final group G fixture against Rovers, Koiki admits the side are still eager to earn Lancashire bragging rights against their local rivals.
