Ben Mee has been on board for every step of the journey under Sean Dyche and hopes there is still plenty mileage left in the current Clarets’ crusade.
Mee was in the starting line-up for Dyche’s first game as Burnley boss in November 2012, with Kevin Long – the only other playing survivor from the pre-Dyche era – on the bench for a 2-0 win over Wolves.
Dyche will celebrate his 300th game as manager when Wolves provide the opposition again at Turf Moor on Saturday.
And Mee’s inclusion on the team sheet will see the ultra-consistent defender clock up his 237th appearance under Dyche, the most by any member of the current squad.
