'I haven't won any prizes in my career - hopefully this will be the first one': Wout Weghorst is desperate to end his wait for a trophy in the Carabao Cup final as the Man United striker sweats on a place in Erik ten Hag's line-up at Wembley

Wout Weghorst is sure the goals will start flowing for him at Manchester United as he sweats on a place in today's Carabao Cup Final.

Weghorst has scored just once in 11 games since being signed on loan as a short-term replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo and was substituted at half-time in Thursday's Europa League win against Barcelona with replacement Antony going on to score the winner.

'I want to be successful but I also want to score. It's a double thing,' admitted the Dutch World Cup striker, who was relegated last season with Burnley before playing in the Turkish League in the first half of this season.
