Paul Merson hilariously criticised Sheffield United for parading a trophy around Bramall Lane after finishing second in the Championship.
The Blades' promotion party, which was sealed after last week's 2-0 triumph over West Brom, capped off an excellent afternoon for Paul Heckingbottom's side, who thrashed Preston 4-1 in style on Saturday.
Sheffield United secured the runners-up spot behind second-tier champions Burnley, who in early April became the fastest team to earn promotion to the Premier League with seven matches to spare.
There were jubilant scenes at Bramall Lane as Sheffield United's fans, players and coaches commemorated the achievement, but Merson was distinctly unimpressed by the club's decision to celebrate with a trophy.
