A second-half winner from Ashley Barnes capped a Clarets fightback as Burnley triumphed in a feisty Roses clash to climb out of the Premier League’s bottom three in gutsy fashion.
Barnes’ fifth goal of the season and a second in as many games for revitalised strike partner Chris Wood saw the Clarets come from behind to win a pulsating game which saw both sides finish with 10 men.
Huddersfield defender Christopher Schindler was sent off moments after Wood had cancelled out Steve Mounie’s opener with his 100th career goal before the break.
And Burnley then had to play out seven minutes of injury time at the end when substitute Brady was sent off for a challenge on Isaac Mbenza.
