An influencer billed as 'Britain's kindest plumber' has been caught up in a row after posting a photograph of a fireplace he wrongly claimed belonged to an 87-year-old man he saved from Carbon Monoxide poisoning.
James Anderson has become an internet sensation by regularly posting about helping the elderly and the poor without charging them, raising huge sums in donation from his fans, including £75,000 from Hugh Grant.
Now he's been publicly accused of wrongly characterising one of his moving social media stories - as rather than an endangered pensioner, the fireplace in question actually belongs to a disgruntled 39-year-old father of two who says he had to call out Mr Anderson's company to repair a minor fault.
