A late rush of blood by Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana threw Burnley a relegation lifeline at Old Trafford.
United had been set to take the points when Antony capitalised on a mistake by Sander Berge after 80 minutes to put the home side.
But Onana – who had made a string of saves earlier in the afternoon – blotted his copybook by charging into Zeki Amdouni as he came for a cross.
Referee John Brook was advised by VAR to check his monitor and Amdouni made no mistake from the spot with only three minutes of normal time remaining.
