Sean Dyche insists he is not looking for immediate rewards following the appointment of new Technical Director Mike Rigg.
The Clarets have a breathless seven games in December before the January transfer window opens, starting with Saturday’s trip to Crystal Palace.
And although Dyche admitted to having targets in mind to add to his squad in the new year, he insists that Rigg - who starts his new role at Barnfield on Monday – is an appointment very much for the long term.

The Burnley boss said: “Mike is coming in and he will give us a new set of eyes and add to the thought process.
