Sean Dyche has reflected on a “magnificent” 2018 for Burnley Football Club.
The Clarets boss looked back on a year that saw the club achieve their highest league standing since 1974, after finishing an impressive seventh in the Premier League in May.
That deservedly earned the club a place in European competition for only the third time in history and the first time in over half a century.
And despite suffering an agonising early exit from the Europa League at the final qualifying stage, and a hangover from that contributing to a battle to remain in the top flight, Dyche insists fans are right to raise a toast to a calendar year that has been cemented as one of the club’s best ever.
