Clarets boss Sean Dyche admits he is delighted with his attacking options this season.
Ashley Barnes has been the eye-catcher so far, with four goals in a blistering start to the season that earned a Premier League Player of the Month nomination.
But with last season’s joint-top scorer Chris Wood currently dovetailing well with Barnes, and summer signing Jay Rodriguez and Matej Vydra both providing strong competition, Dyche is happy with his lot.
“Woody has been unlucky not to nick his goal yet, because I think he’s played really well alongside Barnesy,” said Dyche, whose favoured strike partnership grabbed all three goals in last season’s impressive in away to Saturday’s opponents.
