Peter Crouch could return to Merseyside as he closes in on a Claret comeback.
The former Liverpool and England striker has missed Burnley’s last five games after undergoing surgery on his appendix.
But the January signing is back in training and determined to make an impact before the end of the season.
And boss Sean Dyche confirmed that Crouch could be in his plans for Friday night’s trip to Everton.
“I think Crouchie will come back into the thinking,” said Dyche.
“He trained last week and looked good and felt good.
“He certainly wants to be involved.
