Jack Cork is looking for a Turf Moor tonic to kick-start a Clarets’ revival.
Burnley go into the Boxing Day visit of mid-table Everton in the Premier League’s relegation places.
But with three of their next four games at home, Cork is upbeat about the Clarets’ prospects of playing their way out of trouble.
“We’ve played Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal in three of the last four games and in all of them we’ve put in a good performance and nearly got something from them,” said the midfield man.
“We’ve got a lot to be optimistic about and we’re looking forward to Christmas and the New Year.
