Jack Cork believes the Clarets have never been better placed to continue their challenge in the Premier League.
Sean Dyche’s side went into the international break in seventh spot in the table with 12 points from their opening eight games.
And Cork sees the current squad of players at Turf Moor as the strongest he has played in as the Clarets contest a fourth successive season in top-flight football since the early 1970s.
“The quality we’ve got; we have some great players,” said the midfielder, who chalked up his 150th appearance for the Clarets – spread across two spells – at Aston Villa at the end of last month.
