The Clarets will find out their opponents in the second round of the Carabao Cup when the draw is made tonight (Tuesday).
Burnley will be ball number two from the northern section and go into the hat along with the other 12 Premier League clubs not competing in Europe, Championship sides Cardiff City and Fulham and the round-one winners.
The draw – split into north and south groups – will follow the televised first-round tie between Salford and Leeds United and is expected to take place at around 10pm.
Second-round ties are due to be played in the week commencing 26 August.
