The Clarets cruised past Crewe Alexandra in the Professional Development League with a 6-1 win, however, it was Lewis Richardson who stole the show at the Barnfield Training Centre.
The youngster opened the scoring with three minutes played, before adding a second just eight minutes later.
Crewe then pulled one back with 25 minutes gone, before Richardson grabbed his hat-trick just before the break.
Chriss Conn-Clarke slammed home the fourth just ten minutes into the second half, as Richardson nodded home his fourth of the afternoon shortly after.
And the forward notched his fifth in the 70th minute with a cool finish.
