Burnley legend Jimmy Robson talks about winning the title and starring in Europe despite only being a part-timer: 'I'd work down the pit until 3pm then play a night game'

A wintry morning at a sun-kissed Turf Moor and the recollections of 1960 are flooding back for Jimmy Robson.

'My team were something special,' grins former inside-forward Robson, who is now 78.

'I remember our first European game here. I scored just a few minutes in and the place took off. We beat Reims, the 1959 finalists, 2-0. But then we went to France. It was a red-hot atmosphere.'
