Vincent Kompany has made a personal check on Brondby goalkeeper Mads Hermansen.
Kompany, who is on the brink of leading Burnley back to the Premier League, travelled to Denmark to watch Hermansen in action against Viborg on Sunday.
The 22 year-old has emerged as one of the most promising young goalkeepers in Europe and is rated by some as the best in his homeland.
Hermansen has come through Brondby’s ranks and made over 50 appearances for the club.
He has also played for Denmark at every youth level up from under-16s and was selected for the senior side for the first time last month for the Euro 2024 qualifiers against Finland and Kazakhstan.
