Burnley have agreed a fee worth in the region of £3.5m with Barnsley for defender Marc Roberts.
The defender has impress for the Championship club so far this season and is set to make the switch to a higher level.
The 26-year-old will provide much needed cover for Sean Dyche in central defence.
Kevin Long is currently out injured for the Clarets and Dyche wants someone ready to step in for Ben Mee and Michael Keane.
