A number of clubs are tracking George Boyd after it emerged the midfielder has yet to be offered a new Burnley contract.
Boyd’s current deal expires this summer but talks over extended terms have not taken place and as stands the Scottish international could leave in the summer for free
It is expected discussions will begin in the coming weeks but in the meantime a clutch of Premier League clubs and a host of teams in the Championship are monitoring the situation.
Boyd has been integral to Burnley’s rise into the top half of the table, featuring in all but one of the team’s Premier League games and scoring the decisive goal in the win over Bournemouth last month.
