Jeff Hendrick marked his 100th Premier League appearance in stunning style to rescue a point for the Clarets with a dramatic late equaliser.
Burnley’s impressive recent record against Brighton was only moments away from coming to an end thanks to Neil Maupay’s opener early in the second half.
But substitute Hendrick made sure the Clarets would make it eight unbeaten against the Seagulls when he crashed in an injury-time equaliser with a magnificent 25-yard strike.
It was the Clarets’ only effort on target in a game where they struggled to make any sort of sustained impact.
