Bobby Thomas earned Burnley a narrow 1-0 victory over Championship new boys Blackpool in a Lancashire pre-season derby.
The 20-year-old defender rose highest to head home Ashley Westwood's corner in the 76th minute to make it four wins in four pre-season games for Sean Dyche's men.
The Premier League side controlled the game for large periods and limited their opponents to half chances in the second period.

Burnley thought they had taken the lead in the 53rd minute when Erik Pieters slid in Ashley Barnes, who side-footed home from close range, but the striker was flagged offside.
