Bardsley Waits For Reunion Go-Ahead

Phil Bardsley is among those facing a late fitness check to see whether he can face former club Manchester United.

Bardsley has been nursing a knock and was among those left out of the Clarets’ FA Cup exit at Manchester City on Saturday.

And the right-back – who has started Burnley’s last four games during their unbeaten Premier League run – will be assessed ahead of Tuesday night’s trip to Old Trafford along with wingers Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Robbie Brady.

“We are waiting on Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Phil Bardsley,” confirmed manager Sean Dyche, who is planning without Matt Lowton due to a toe injury.
