Premier League side Burnley crashed out of the second round of the EFL Cup after an extra-time winner from Accrington Stanley at the Wham Stadium.
Sean Dyche made no less than 10 changes to the Clarets side that upset Liverpool in the Premier League last weekend - with Johann Berg Gudmundsson coming closest to opening the scoring during a lacklustre first-half for a Lancashire derby.
Substitute Andre Gray and Lukas Jutkiewicz missed opportunities to take the lead as the game trudged towards extra-time. Clarets No 1 Nick Pope made a superb save to deny Rommy Bocco, but Matty Pearson netted in the final minute of extra-time to send the League Two minnows into the third round of the League Cup for the first time.
