As expected the Buffalo Sabres activated defenseman Zach Bogosian off of injured reserve today. He’ll make his season debut tonight when they take on the Vegas Golden Knights.
Bogosian last played in a game on January 9, against the Winnipeg Jets. He’s been out recovering from hip surgery and another lower-body injury suffered in the preseason.
In order to make room on the roster the Sabres assigned defenseman Matt Tennyson to the Rochester Americans of the AHL. The 28-year-old veteran can be assigned directly to the Amerks.
