Dan Bylsma announced Terry Murray and Dave Barr the first two members of his coaching staff at the Sabres' pre-draft press conference this morning.
Murray, Tim's uncle, has served 15 seasons as a head coach in the league between Washington, Philadelphia, Florida and LA. His last NHL job was with the Kings, who fired him during the 2011-12 season, his third in LA. Last season he was the head coach for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the AHL, posting a 33-35-8 record. He has a 499-383-89-41 career record as a head coach.
Barr had been on Pete DeBoer's New Jersey Devils staff during the now-Sharks head coach's four year tenure.
