Murray adds to his defensive depth with another high-production AHL veteran.
The Sabres have added another player who is likely headed for Rochester in defenseman Bobby Sanguinetti. He spent last season with the Utica Comets, scoring 16 goals and 24 assists in 61 games. The offensive defenseman has played 45 games in the NHL between the Rangers and Hurricanes.
His longest look in the NHL came in 2012-13, when he scored two goals and four assists in 47 games with Carolina. The team decided to not bring him back the following season, so went to the KHL before returning to North America a year later.
